New York City is home to many things, one of them being yellow taxi cabs. But this morning, as my mom and I prepared to make the eight-mile trip downtown, the pouring rain meant we couldn’t find one for 20 minutes. They were all occupied. Finally, after getting an empty one, it took us an hour to make those eight miles. Is this it?
Nope. Nada. We’re not getting older. We’re getting…okay, we are getting older. But that can also mean that we can step into a child’s life and become a role model. We can take all that wisdom and make an impact on the younger generation. World Fit has given us the purpose, the “legs,” and the inspiration to do just that! (more…)
