We are proud to have the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics as World Fit’s research partner. Under the direction of Tracie Miller, M.D., the department will analyze the results of World Fit both in Miami and nationally.
The first poster with the results of the World Fit Walk will be presented at the American Academy of Pediatrics in October 2010. Ongoing studies will be conducted longitudinally and retrospectively to validate that the World Fit program is achieving its desired goal to improve the health of our targeted middle school students.
